Kortenhorst Nursery
is a partnership consisting of Gonnie Kortenhorst, Frans Kortenhorst en Jos Wijnberg and was established in 1980. Over the years Kortenhorst Nursery has expanded and has specialised in the growing of attractive plants in pots.
In our greenhouses, with a total area of 2.5 ha, we grow our assortment of dwarf Rhododendrons and Ericaceous Specials under optimal conditions.
All plants are in 15cm pots and have a top layer of bark and since this year (2014) we introduce Cleanpot System®, foilcovering on top of the pot.
Our sophisticated automation system guarantees quality and uniformity to a high-level.
Since the spring of 2007 we have been developing and using the Carry Pot System® for all of our products.
The Carry Pot System® is a carry strap attached to the plant pot. The photo and plant information is incorporated into the strap.
It is a user-friendly and pro purchase system with an eye-catching presentation.
The Carry Pot System® is extremely suitable for garden centres and retailers.
